	Entering the new millennium, everybody realizes that revolutionary changes are taking place in the educational environment of our country. It also means that India is destined to gain its rightful place in the community of nations which is already referring the 21st century as the Asia Pacific century. Preempting the opportunities in the field of education that would be thrown up in the process of development, Pacific Education Society Udaipur was founded in 1995 with the purpose of proliferating education by establishing centers of learning in diverse fields management, IT, medicine, engineering etc.

	The society is chaired by the promoters of Rs. 200 crore, Pacific Group of companies, Udaipur. The dedicated team of office bearers share an ambitions “Millennium Vision” for fulfilling the Society’s mission.

	Earlier the name of this society was "Pacific Education Society". It has been changed to “Pacific Academy of Higher Education & Research Society (PAHER)” w.e.f. 12th march, 2007 with the office of registrar of co-operative societies, Udaipur (Rajasthan). In 2006.
	The Society has the following colleges:
	Pacific Dental College Pacific College of Commerce Pacific College of Management Pacific College of Teachers Education Pacific College of Pharmacy
	Ahamdabad Dental College, Ghandhi Nagar and Dharshan Dental College are related institute of the Society.
	The Society is starting 5 new colleges in the coming academic session:
	Pacific Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Udaipur Pacific Institute of Technology, Udaipur Pacific School of Business, Udaipur (MBA) Pacific Institute of Hotel Management , Udaipur Pacific Institute of Management and Technology, Udaipur (PGDBM)
