The Faculty of Management,PAHER University conducted Women Entrepreneurship Development Program
(WEDP) in association with the Institute of Labour Development (I L D) & the Industrial Finance Corporation
of India Ltd. (I F C I) from 30.09.2016 to 15.10.2016 to provide opportunities and facilities of T&D to meet the
challenges. There were total 24 participants from the technical background from Udaipur and its adjoin areas who took an
active participation and learnt how to establish a business and its process from the experts in the workshop.
The institute organized a factory visit also from where the participants quenched their thrust by asking relevant
questions to the concerned persons.
The inaugural ceremony took place on 30.09.2016 in which the Dean Prof. Mahima Birla, appreciated the initiative taken and motivated all the participants, she shared some successful stories of successful women entrepreneurs. Mr. Bivas Mukherji , coordinator from the organizations spoke on objectives, schemes, strategies and goals of this type of programs and how it help to develop entrepreneurs in the society.
The sessions were taken by Prof. Pushpkant Shakdweepi, Mr. Shivoham Singh, Dr. Subhash Sharma , CA Disha Fattawat, Dr. Pallavi Mehta, Dr.Narendra Singh Chawda, Dr. Dharmesh Motwani , Dr. Gaurav joshi, on various issues like How to identify Business opportunities soft skills Development & Information seeking, How to develop detailed project report, Product costing, Marketing Management, Negotiation, Financial Management , Delegation of Authority, Purchase technique, etc. The program was coordinated by Dr. Subhash Sharma from the institute.
