INDUSTRIAL EXPOSURE

Industrial visit has its own importance in the career of a student,pursuing a professional degree like MBA. It gives students an exposure to current work practices, also an excellent opportunity to interact with industries and know more about industrial environment.With this objective in mind, P a c i f i c G r o u p o f Management Institutions conducts industrial visits every year.

ASHOK LEYLAND

An industrial visit at Ashok Leyland, Railmagra was organized where practical exposure related to operations management activities,HR practices focusing on training and development, quality aspects, service and maintenance activities etc. was given to students by domain experts, so as to provide them practical learning.

PIL ITALICA LIFESTYLE LIMITED

To provide a different dimension to student's learning' which they cannot gain in the classroom and bridge the gap between industry and academia, the first year and second year MBA students were taken to PIL Italica Lifestyle Limited, one of the pioneers of moulded plastic furniture in India, located at Udaipur (Rajasthan).

SECURE METERS

The I year and second year management students visited Secur e Meters Limited, one of the leading M N C s in meter manufacturing in India, located at Udaipur (Rajasthan). Ms. Batul Habib and Ms. Aashna Saxena gave an insight of the functioning of Secure Meters and how exactly the company became the global leader in meter manufacturing.

PACIFIC MEDICAL COLLEGE & HOSPITAL

The students of Faculty of Management, Pacific University, Udaipur visited Pacific Medical College and Hospital, Bedla to attend a session on Mental Health and well-being. During the session, the Resource Person, Dr. S. G. Mehta, HOD, Psychiatry Department sensitized the students with various useful tips and techniques to cope with the stresses of life. Students were also familiarized with the current management and work practices followed by hospitals.

AMUL DAIRY & CHOCOLATE PLANT, ANAND, GUJARAT

Under the guidance of Dr. Narendra Chawda, an industry visit for MBA students to Amul Dairy and Amul Chocolate Plant, Anand Gujarat was organized. Students visited Amul butter and dry milk plant in Gujarat, where they learnt about the technology based operations of the dairy and also walked through the cleaning, fat separation, standardization and packaging units to see how various Amul products are processed and packed. The students also visited Amul chocolate plant which is fully automatic, where the students saw the manufacturing and packing of chocolates through transparent window glass.
